Rooted locally, reaching further

A community organisation built around people

Our first Hub has been established in Nottinghamshire. We aim to develop accessible projects with trusted partners and, in time, support locally responsive Hubs across the UK.

Creative Workshops

Creative workshops offer an enjoyable way to express ideas, learn new skills and connect with others. Shared activities such as art, crafts, music or group projects can build confidence, reduce isolation and strengthen community participation. NHS England includes creative activities such as art, dance and singing within community-based approaches that support social connection and wellbeing.

Coffee mornings and support groups

Coffee Mornings and Support Groups

Friendly, informal gatherings can give people space to talk, listen, share experiences and meet others who understand. Coffee mornings and peer-support groups may help reduce loneliness, strengthen community connections and create a greater sense of belonging—without any pressure to share more than feels comfortable. The NHS explains that connecting with other people can support mental wellbeing and help us feel that we belong.

Yoga group

Gentle Yoga, Breathing and Movement

Gentle yoga combines accessible movement, breathing and relaxation to help release tension, calm an overactive mind and reconnect with the body. Sessions can also support flexibility, balance and strength, with options for different abilities and confidence levels. The NHS highlights yoga as a low-impact activity that can support mental wellbeing and relieve stress and anxiety.

Mindfulness and Stress Workshops

These practical workshops help people understand how stress can show up through racing thoughts, shallow breathing, tension, restlessness or feeling overwhelmed. Mindfulness, grounding and breathing techniques can help participants notice these signals earlier and find manageable ways to restore balance. The NHS explains that mindfulness can support people experiencing stress and anxiety.

Sound Relaxation

Singing bowls, gongs, drums and calming instruments create an immersive space where attention can move away from busy thoughts and towards sound. This may help the mind and body settle into deeper relaxation after stress or overstimulation. Research into singing bowls is still developing, but a recent systematic review found promising evidence for relaxation, reduced anxiety and improved sleep.

Life Coaching and Personal Development

Life coaching creates space to explore what matters, build confidence and turn ideas into achievable next steps. Through thoughtful questions and guided reflection, participants can develop greater clarity, motivation and belief in their own abilities. This person-led approach reflects NHS England’s explanation of wellbeing coaching, which supports personalised goals, motivation and positive change.

Removing barriers where we can

Wellbeing should feel accessible

Where funding allows, projects may be free, subsidised, grant-funded or commissioned. Costs and eligibility will always be explained clearly.
